HYFTF - PRACTICAL REVIEW

I believe my group was able to successfully film a good sequence of shots and audio to work into a coherent short film. However, there was a few factors that were not successful, and I will work to amend in the future. Firstly, it is important to mention I was not present on the first day of filming (due to health issues) so did not get a full experience as I did not help write or edit the script. However, I was there for the second day of filming, so I got to work with the cameras and develop my understanding of practical film work. I will not be absent in my later group work.

Another thing that went wrong with the filming is that the main character was wearing different outfits on the two days of filming, lessening the believability of the movie. in the future my group and I will ensure that the outfits of the charters stay consistent throughout the movie to help it flow naturally.

The last thing I would change about our filming practical and the way we went about it is the counting down before a shot as sometimes our countdown went into the audio of the clip, which can be edited out in post but is my easier and more natural if it was not there at all.

Hopefully I can make these improvements in later projects.
