Warner Brothers is one of the biggest American film production companies, headquartered at the Warner Bros. Studios complex in Burbank, California. The three eldest brothers Albert, Jack and Harry first started their professional life in the theatre industry but shortly were joined by their youngest brother Sam, who was apparently the most influential, ambitious and project forward brother and co-worker and arguably the reason the Warner Brother Studio became the extremely popular production team it is today.
In 2019, Warner Bros. Pictures earned $4.4 billion in worldwide receipts ($1.57 billion domestic, $2.85 billion international), marking the 10th time the Studio crossed the $4 billion mark. This income is important as Warner Bros. Pictures either fully finances or co-finances the films it produces and maintains worldwide distribution rights.
Some films Warner Bros. Pictures have either fully or co-produced are The Exorcist (1973), Blazing Saddles (1974), Blade Runner (1982), and The Colour Purple (1985).

On October 16, 1923, Walt Disney and his brother Roy found the Disney Brothers Cartoon Studio in Hollywood, California. From a young age Walt Disney was a talented artist and drew many cartoons and became interested in cel animation while working for the Kansas City Film Ad Company. After a few failed buisness attempts Walt and Roy moved to Los Angeles and while there, Walt sold his first short film produced by Laugh-O-Gram, Alice in Wonderland.
After this success Disney began work on his most famous creation. With the 1928 release of Steamboat Willie, the world was introduced to Mickey Mouse.
