What is principal photography:

The main bulk of the filming process is called the 'principal photography'. It divides the pre-productions from the post-production. However, normally some extra shots are shot during post-production after editing has started. Normally because the team is not happy with a certain shot or it was forgotten all-together. These are called 'pick ups'.

Where my group is now:

My group and I have now completed our principal photography. We believe it went quite successfully however some pick up shots still need to be redone or captured. Such as a few filler shots in London which we will use in the travelling and chasing scenes to portray the environment.

We ran into quite a few problems during our filming process, the most prevalent of which being the weather. Due to this and other factors we spontaneously changed a few shot and locations when new opportunities for shots came to us this helped the film flow more in a practical and visually pleasing way.

What we changed / did:

Through-out the filming process we changed both our script and storyboard as well as our production schedule. During our actual filming we decided to change a few shots and mise-en-scene as we believe the altered shots would fit better with the look we were going for. This therefore led to both our story board and script being different compared to the finished product. However apart from changing this small parts of our plan and having to retime filming (due to the issues mentioned earlier) our productions ran very smoothly, te camera was always charged and all equipment always worked.
